At the First Baptist Church of Shell Knob, Missouri, we have recently celebrated our 100th-year Anniversary in this unique area.

Only a few "Born Again" believers resided in Shell Knob back in the early 1900's.  The church was organized in October of 1907, and a log structure was hand-built in the original village of "Old Shell Knob".

After Table Rock Lake was built, the church experienced real growth as folks from all around the country began flocking here for recreation and retirement.  Shell Knob is very close to the exciting entertainment city of Branson, Mo. The present church building, located at 25896 Highway YY, was built in 1979, with further additions in 1988.

This church is a traditional Southern Baptist Church and is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention of Missouri, and the Barry County Baptist Association. Pastor Bob Gaddis became our Pastor in June of 2000, and continues to lead our Church forward in it's solid, Bible-based principles that our Church was founded upon.
