The First Baptist Church of Shell Knob is a church of ministry.  Our programs are designed to meet the needs of people, young and old alike. In addition to regular Sunday and midweek services, opportunities are available to fellowship in  a variety of areas.

The Men of our church are very active in areas of leadership and service to our church and our community. A Men's Prayer Group meets at the church each Wednesday morning to lift up in prayer the needs of our church family, our community, our nation, and any others in need of prayer.

Our Church brothers like to fellowship together by taking several trips each year for a little dining, browsing, and shopping in Springfield at the Bass Pro Shops and other stores.  They also get together for several outings to play golf and fish together. This is a fun bunch of fellows.

Speaking of fishing, since we are located in a fisherman's paradise area, the men of our church love to fish and cook their catch for the church family at Church Fish Fry Nights several times each year.   

The Ladies of our church are very active in the Women's Bible Study, Ladies Prayer Group, visitation, and many other areas of the church.  These ladies love to fellowship with each other, and have several Ladies Day Out trips each year traveling to many interesting places and to do a little shopping. They also sponsor a Ladies Fellowship Day of Bible Study each year, with gifted musicians, inspirational speakers, games, and a wonderful luncheon. 

Our music ministry is committed to enhance each worship service by preparing our hearts to worship through song.  We have a very active adult choir...A place for YOU to make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Our young people are challenged to spiritual growth through Sunday School, Bible Studies, fellowships, summer camps, recreation, and Vacation Bible School.  The Wednesday Night Bible Study for Youth, meets from 6:00 to 7:00.  It's a great program for kids, grades 1-12, where they are fed good food from the Word of God.

Our Senior Saints group is always on the go.  They meet each month for either a potluck luncheon with a speaker and or musical entertainment, or they travel to an exciting concert, theatre, or Branson show.

Our church is also very active in supporting mission causes at home and abroad.
